FrogDaddy offers Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) on all orders with transit temperatures at or below 95 degrees F for a high temperature, and at or below 35 degrees F for a low temperature via 2 day Priority Mail (USPS). All isopod orders during extreme hot or cold weather (above 85 degrees F and below 50 degrees F) will be packed in an insulated box with the appropriate temperature regulators (heat pack / phase pack / cool pack). Any order with a full transit profile temperature of 60-80 degrees will be packed without insulation.
If your isopods come in Dead On Arrival (DOA), you must do the following:
You must communicate with us within 1 hour of reception.
You must report where the package was delivered (porch, mailbox, office, etc.), weather conditions (shade, full sun, etc), and approximately how long it was there. Please be honest with us, as we will look up time stamps.
You must show CLEAR pictures of box, box contents, and dead specimens. Clear videos are preferred, but pictures of dead specimens are fully acceptable. You must remove at least 50% of your count on to a paper towel or high contrast background to receive a refund and show original packaging.
Thank you for respecting our DOA policies on isopods. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Isopoda is an order of invertebrates that contains many species. The isopods FrogDaddy sells are all terrestrial species. Some isopods are much rarer than others and are kept as pets, while other common species and morphs are a great supplemental feeder. Isopods offer a natural calcium boost to their predators. Some cultures will include moist sphagnum moss for ease of shipping. Isopod prices are reflected by counts. Some isopods may start at higher quantities or lower quantities than a standard “10,” therefore the price seen on the following images may be higher or lower than expected.
